ANNOUNCED FOR
HOME & CONDO’S 2004 DREAM HOME
NAPLES,
Fla. – The
team for Home & Condo’s 2004 Dream Home has been
assembled, according to Lynne Groth, publisher of Gulfshore
Media’s Dream Home magazine.
The ninth Dream Home since the project’s inception in 1990, the 2004 Dream
Home will be built in The Estates at TwinEagles. In addition to Gulfshore Media
Inc. and The Bonita Bay Group, developer of The Estates at TwinEagles, 2004 partners
include: builder McGarvey Custom Homes Inc.; residential designer R.G. Designs
Inc.; interior design model merchandiser Robb & Stucky; and the landscape
architectural firm of Architectural Land Design Inc.
Since 1970, Gulfshore Life and its family of regional publications have set the
standard of publishing excellence in Southwest Florida. Gulfshore Media Inc.’s
roster of award-winning publications includes Gulfshore Life, Gulfshore Business,
Gulfshore Homebuyer, Discover Southwest Florida Visitors Annual and Dream Home.
In 2000, the company merged with Sarasota Magazine and today, with offices in
Naples and Sarasota, is one of the Southeast’s leading magazine publishers.
Award-winning McGarvey Custom Homes has been building luxury homes locally since
1996 and is one of the preferred builders at The Estates at TwinEagles and sister
communities, The Brooks and Bonita Bay, both in Bonita Springs, and Mediterra
in Naples. The homebuilder has earned several Aurora Awards, including a Grand
Aurora given by the Southeast Building Conference to projects in a 12-state region.
McGarvey has also won numerous Sand Dollar awards given by the Collier County
Building Industry. Prior to relocating to Southwest Florida, McGarvey Custom
Homes was based in southern New Jersey for more than two decades.
The
Bonita Bay Group is developing The Estates at TwinEagles and
five other local master-planned communities – Bonita
Bay, The Brooks, Mediterra, Shadow Wood Preserve and Verandah
along with 12 golf courses and two marinas. The company has earned
state and national recognition that pivots on environmentally
sensitive development, including the development industry’s
highest honor, the Urban Land Institute’s Award of Excellence
for Bonita Bay.
Founded in 1915 in Fort Myers, Robb & Stucky is a nationally
recognized leader in home furnishing and interior design, with
stores along Florida’s Gulf Coast, and in Dallas and Scottsdale,
Ariz. Under the leadership of the Mariner Group and Clive Lubner,
which purchased the company in 1979, Robb & Stucky has grown
from $2 million in annual sales to about $220 million. Robb & Stucky
has participated in four previous Dream Homes, most recently
the 1998 home.
R.G. Designs Inc., headed by Rich Guzman, is a residential design
firm that has created luxury custom homes throughout the country
and in Southwest Florida’s finest communities and waterfront
neighborhoods. Based in Bonita Springs, the company has a decade-long
presence in the Southwest Florida market and has earned numerous
national and local awards for imaginative residential and commercial
design, including honors from the American Institute of Building
Designers; Aurora and Grand Aurora awards; and local Pinnacle
and Sand Dollar awards.
Architectural Land Design Inc. was founded in Southwest Florida in 1994 by president
Christian Andrea, RLA, and has created residential, commercial and urban projects
from Key West to Virginia. The company’s full range of design and planning
services include landscape architecture, site planning, park and estate planning
and design,
garden, pool and lighting design, urban design, streetscape and roadway beautification,
and golf course planning and planting. Architectural Land Design has earned a
number of national, local and industry awards, including Aurora and Sand Dollar
awards.
