GROUP
TOURS OF 2004 DREAM HOME AVAILABLE
NAPLES,
Fla. – Ladies
who lunch and wear red hats were among the many clubs and
organizations that took advantage of group tours at Home & Condo’s
2003 Dream Home. More than 30 churches, newcomers groups,
community groups and Red Hat Societies toured the home and
lunched at The Club at TwinEagles. Now they are returning
to view Home & Condo’s 2004 Dream Home.
Several tours have already been scheduled at the 2004 Dream Home – a more
than 10,000-total-square-foot showcase home being built by McGarvey Custom Homes
at The Estates at Twin Eagles in North Naples. The $5.95 million home opens for
docent-lead public tours Feb. 21 with proceeds benefiting the Naples Philharmonic
League, which supports the Philharmonic Orchestra and its youth music education
programs.
“
It’s such a great day for a group or organization,” said Claudia
Polzin, the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra’s director of Education/Group
Sales who is coordinating group bookings. “We offer a wonderful lunch and
tours of the home, which is going to be amazing.”
Residents of The Brooks in Bonita Springs toured as a group last year, and plan
to visit the 2004 Dream Home, said Daniela Jacob, assistant director of community
activities at The Commons Club, who accompanied that group. “They had such
a great time,” she said. “We’ve already gotten calls from residents
who want to register for the 2004 trip.”
Group participants save $2 off of the regular $15 admission price for tour-only
packages. A tour and lunch package, offering a gourmet buffet for larger groups,
glass of wine and champagne or soft drink are available for $25 a person.
Home & Condo’s 2004 Dream Home is open
Feb. 21 through April 4 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesdays through
Sundays and group tours are available with lunch at 11:30 a.m.
and 1 p.m. Polzin suggests groups book tours as soon as possible. “We
had most our tours booked by mid-January last year,” she
said. “The sooner they call, the better.”
The 2004 Dream Home has a negative-edge bathtub that overlooks a fountain courtyard
through 90-degree disappearing doors, a glass bed wall with views to a private
butterfly garden in the master suite, two-way mirrors hiding television sets
above the fireplace in the master suite and in the bathroom, and a study with
a life-size glass chessboard and three of the home’s 11 televisions. The
home, a showpiece of architecture, building and interior design, also has four
bedrooms, including a guesthouse and guest cabana, six bathrooms, a state-of-the-art
home theater/safe room, 450-gallon wall-mounted aquarium, and six water features,
including a Japanese koi pond, meditation and herb gardens, and a sitting area
with a waterfall and fire pit.
Group tour reservations can be made by contacting Claudia Polzin at (239) 597-0670
